BOOKS & DVDS

We do not advertise very many products on this site, but this one deserves the attention!  This DVD release has to be one of the TOP 6 releases of ALL TIME.

1.  ALOHA DELUXE EDITION
2.  ELVIS ON TOUR
3.  THE LOST PERFORMANCES
4.  THAT'S THE WAY IT IS  SPECIAL EDITION
5.  68 COMEBACK DELUXE EDITION
6.  ELVIS LIVES  25TH ANNIVERSARY CONCERT
(my opinion of course)

The sound is unbelievable, unlike anything you have ever heard.  Turn up the surround sound and CRANK IT UP.  It lives up to the hype of being "the next best thing to being at a real Elvis concert."

TOP SECRET - Elvis Presley Paternity Suit - UNCOVERED!!!

An exciting new documentary will soon expose, for the very first time, the true accounts of one of the largest sex scandals in rock and roll history.   The lawsuit was against none other than "The King" himself, Elvis Presley.

The question is;  "Had his caviler, free-wheeling lifestyle finally caught up with him?   Or was Elvis the unsuspecting victim in an elaborate, well calculated extortion attempt?"

The story involves SEX, LIES AND VIDEO TAPE, and contains hidden camera photos, private home movies, legal documents, court rulings, medical records, official F.B.I. files, polygraph and blood tests, media reports, first hand accounts from eye-witnesses,
as well as recorded statements from Elvis himself.

The 95 minute program explores in detail each twist and turn of the true documented events that took place over a period of several years, during the height of Elvis Presley's concert years in the 1970's.

An exciting thriller - and a true untold story with all the supporting evidence. It required years of investigative work developing this documentary and the result is an exciting detective story based on documented facts.

This new release will be available to order in the next week  and a VIDEO PREVIEW (TRAILER) will be released in the next few days.

A 100-pages full-color, hard cover book with the use of the outstanding, high quality paper stock being established as best choice paper for books by our releases of the "Elvis - Behind The Image" & "Elvis - Born To Rock".   The prints will be as usual "National Geographic" quality standard.   The pictures were cleaned and restored by a professional graphic historian for the best possible results. The book comes with a print varnishing.   This method guarantees that (especially on pictures with dark areas) the fingerprints don't remain visible and so the single pages will always look new and unread.

The DVD is a full length documentary which could easily be a "Stand-Alone" product as our next DVD release. With a running time of 95 minutes we are proud to give much more than a typical "Bonus" DVD offers.  The book and the DVD interact perfectly with each other. The book gives you the possibility to do your own research and dig even deeper into the facts of the story.

BEHIND THE IMAGE THE BOOK VOL 1

Elvis - Behind The Image - the book offers the fan more than 400 photos on over 120 pages, whereas most shots are color. A special treat are the private journal entries of Sandi Miller together with her personal photos of Elvis and the interior views of many Elvis-houses in California. Actually Sand Miller was a Elvis fan but she became, like in every fan's dream, a good friend of Elvis. So she was a guest on many private parties, quite a few times at Elvis's home, on the set of Elvis' films and also at RCA Studios. She made at that time precise, private notes in a kind of diary about the many meetings with Elvis and has therefore numerous memories to offer, she has saved in her notes over the years.

Sandi kept a private journal of her numerous encounters with Elvis, and as a result has MANY volumes of her memories, so every detail is as fresh as the day it happened. This adds much more depth than the typical Elvis photo book, and compliments the photos very nicely.  Maybe you know some of the pictures, but the majority has never been published before. In that and in through the unique reports melting with the photos to a wonderful ensemble, is the especialness distinguishing this book from many others which publish often wrong dates or play back an event wrong.

The book shows Elvis from 1966 and ends 1975, but focuses the end of the 60's. Elvis is shown at the several movie shootings, Clambake, Stay Away Joe, Live A Little Love A Little, Charro, The Trouble With Girls and Change Of Habit and by the candids you can have a look behind the scenes. You see Elvis in extravagant private clothes visiting shows, meeting fans and especially his Hollywood years are dealt with dramatically.

BEHIND THE IMAGE THE BOOK VOL 2

"Elvis: Behind The Image" - The Book Vol. 2 offers the fan more than 520 photos on over 140 pages. Thereby the candids cover all three decades in which the king was in the spotlight and the media was interested in him. The 50s are mainly black/white, the 60s and 70s are documented with color photos. The journals of Sandi Miller enable the reader once again a previously unknown insight into the private world of Elvis. Originally Sandi Miller was an Elvis fan but she became, like in a dream of every Elvis fan, a close friend of Elvis. So she was a guest on many private parties, and she was a lot of times present at Elvis's home and at rehearsals in the RCA studios.

Even at that time she kept detailed records in a kind of journal about the many meetings with Elvis so she has a lot of memories, she has saved over the years in her journals, to offer us. So she can report about every detail like it just happened yesterday. Bud Glass was, however, able to enthuse during his researches other contemporary witnesses for the project, thereunder famos names like Jean-Marc Gargiulo or Livio Monari, who describe their memories at those times, their personal moments and meetings with Elvis detailed to the reader. These reports are being in-depth accompanied in the finest "Behind The Image" manner with sensational photos which mirror these incidents impressively.

Elvis caught the attention from most of us by a movie in TV or by a recording in the radio. His ability and his talent came to our home in the best manner. But this media shows however only one side: they show an Elvis who knew exactly that he had to look after every little move and his look, and that he was only allowed to do tiny jokes.  The photos document not only the loose and easy-going kind of Elvis during his spare time, but they show outstandingly why the youth of that time took Elvis as a role model and followed suit concerning Elvis's look and clothes. His incomparable style should cause him being even alive a trend setter and that the trend he coined is still up to date nowadays.

BORN TO ROCK

"Elvis - Born To Rock" offers the fan more than 320 photos on over 150 pages, and the majority of the shots are professionally taken and in brilliant color.  The book celebrates the two concerts of July 19th 1975 in a unique and impressive manner. It starts with the appearance at the airport as Elvis flies into New York. It shows Elvis on the way to the hotel from the airport, from the hotel to the Nassau Colisuem, and finally Elvis on stage. Also included are interesting photos of the Nassau coliseum, concert tickets and actual memorabilia that was sold during this tour in 1975.

The photographer James Faro was in the fortunate situation not only to be at the two Uniondale shows, he was able to experience Elvis in 1975 & 1976 on stage. His shots from June 27th 1976 have found their way to the bonus chapter of the "Born To Rock" book. Gaze at the glory of the "Pre-Historic Bird Suit" while running over the pages and follow the concert by means of the stories and newspaper reviews as if you were actually there.

Besides the uncountable photos, a lot of information is waiting for you. Overviews on the according tour schedule with statements of places and experience reports of fans, who experienced the concerts live, news paper articles, listings from 1975 directly with events concerning Elvis and a short overview on the most important world events of that time.  These mentioned attributes mark out the "Born To Rock" project and ensure that - without a doubt - the product may be called a book.

BEHIND THE IMAGE VOL 1 DVD

At the end of 2005, when the last pressing of the DVD "Elvis Behind The Image Vol.1" had nearly been sold out, we decided not to re-release the DVD in an unmodified form, but to publish it in a revised version.

During the last few month we worked feverishly to complete this, and today we can present you the revised version of the DVD "Elvis Behind The Image Vol. 1".  It is available now for order.  If you still don't have this classic, now is your chance to order the revised version of the DVD "Elvis Behind The Image Vol.1".

Some of the new features include an interactive menu, more rare photos that were not available to us when the first dvd was
pressed in 2002, but needed to be included for historic reasons.  Also a mini-documentary before each segment of raw 8mm footage was added to give an entertaining history behind the footage and What was going on in Elvis' life during each period.  The revision also extends the running time extends up to 99 min.

It is important to note that we did not revise this dvd in order to it to sell it a second time to people who already have the original dvd.

We were almost totally sold out of the original dvd and decided before re-pressing to revise the documentary, making it closer to the standards we want to deliver with all of our productions.  Some serious collectors who have the original version will want the revised version, while some will be content with the original version.  For those who do not own a copy of BEHIND THE IMAGE VOL. 1, This is meant for you.  Please visit http://www.behind-the-image.com/  to order.

You definitely do not want to miss out on this documentary that started the Behind the Image dvd and book series.  The home movie footage of Elvis at his home in California in 1969, and the incredibly rare 1970 concert footage is unbelievable and a must-have for any fan.  Transferred form the original super 8 reels for the first time, and digitally transferred for the best possible quality, these rare films were taken front row, center stage and Elvis is so close and clear you can almost touch him.

BEHIND THE IMAGE VOL 2 DVD

Contains interviews with co-star Cynthis Pepper, from "Kissin Cousins", members of the Stamps Quartet:  Ed Hill, Ed Enoch.

Bud Glass Productions took care for not only the admirers of documentaries getting their money worth, but also the collectors of Super8 Material. Also here the DVD is a novelty. You are not only getting tiny clips of a few seconds, but also on this area was totally taken care of: the footage included in the documentary is on the DVD in the "Bonus material" area unedited and in complete length available. For all "Elvis - Behind The Image" products is valid that the Super8 material comes from the original reels and was transferred for the first time with the most modern laser scanning technology. It concerns unexceptional unpublished material which has never been circulating, not even in the fan scene.

Contains footage from these performances:

Houston, Texas - November 12, 1971
Dallas, Texas - November 13, 1971
San Bernadino, California - May 10, 1974
Los Angeles, California - May 11, 1974
Las Vegas, Nevada - September 01, 1974

Before this recordings you are also getting a mini documentary, which is full of unpublished photos showing Elvis in the several stage outfits. Conspicuous is that you realize watching the footage that pictures obviously can't give an account of the unbelievable beauty and glory of the suits. Never before have you seen the stones and diamonds twinkle in such a manner. Elvis wears here, besides the Rainbow-Suit, the American Eagle Suit, and Peacock-Suit also the black Spanish-Flower-Suit. That this suits in moving pictures are an rarity doesn't have to be emphasized.

ADRENALINE VOL 1 DVD

A new DVD, from the creators of the "Behind The Image" Brand!!  This DVD contains a brilliant documentary about Elvis Presley and the basic changes in his life and career in 1968, 1969 and 1970.  It also contains Las Vegas footage from August 1970 shot by Jean-Marc Gargiulo.  The best on this documentary is surely the unpublished material of Elvis 1969 from the legendary first Las Vegas comeback-engagement. A few minutes from this time frame were shown a few years ago in the movie "Return To Splendour" in low quality. But in consideration of the rareness of the material this was at that time already a sensation to see Elvis on stage live in 1969. The 69' material on this DVD is in impressive, unique quality and it is not the same material like on the above-named production.

As it is already a tradition of ours, Super8mm footage of Elvis has been added in the historic context. The documentary and the Super8 material complements one another and an interesting and entertaining Elvis Presley DVD has been originated. Some sensations are waiting for you.

As well as in our 'Behind The Image' products we have found again the original source of incredible Super8 footage and it has been transferred for the first time in highly professional quality from the original reel. The result is just perfect.
