May 18TH will be a very important day for Mr. George Hill. With this FTD 2-CD set release, also titled "DIXIELAND DELIGHT", this will mark the very first time that a George Hill photograph will be used as the cover of an OFFICIAL release from Elvis' record label. A COVER SHOT!!! Not to mention the 4-colour booklet!!!

His shots have been used, UNOFFICIALLY, many times before, including this same photograph from MAY 31, 1975 evening show as the cover of a recent "UNOFFICIAL" CD release. Since this shot had already been selected to be the cover of the "DIXIELAND DELIGHT" Boxset Project from Praytome Publishing and Bud Glass Productions, maybe they thought it was a good idea to use it as their cover too. It was never authorized. But it is still a great shot and even more so as a cover from the King's own record label!!!

When Mr. Hill saw this cover, he simply said: "THAT IS BEAUTIFUL!!"

What an honor it is for him to receive this recognition.

Eventhough this FTD CD is a seperate release from the Boxset, we still wanted to mention its' significance, not only for all the fans, but for Mr. George Hill as well.
